ADMIRALTY 25-ft FAST MOTOR BOAT of 1935

L/S/141

A fast motor boat built by John Thornycroft, to Admiralty contract, to compare similar units built from Vosper and British Power Boat designs. Completed in October 1935, it was allocated to HMS OSPREY. In May 1941 it was transferred to the light cruiser HMS CURACOA and lost when SS QUEEN MARY off the coast of Donegal ran her down in October 1942.
