Whilst they show the early 'A' class units, L/S/36 is of Alliance as modified, and may be seen in conjunction with the 24 sheets of profile drawings showing detail of the fittings, systems and equipment of the 'A' class. Modified SUPER 'T' CLASS PATROL SUBMARINE, HMS TABARD of 1955

External profile and plan views with sections of a group of super 'T's which included TACITURN, THERMOPYLAE, TIPTOE, TOTEM, TRUMP, TRUNCHEON and TURPIN.
A 20-ft length was added with two additional electric motors, and extra battery space built in, to improve these all welded late war units.
